With over 30 years of charter fishing for salmon and trout out of North point marina in Winthrop Harbor, Captain Shawn Keulen on the charter fishing boat Breezy 1 has plenty of experience and networking to make your salmon/trout fishing charter not only safe, but as productive as possible.
Our season out of North Point marina is April through October. April through mid June is the best time of the year for numbers “faster action” of salmon with most of the catch being Coho salmon. Months of July and August is when our biggest fish of the season show up such as King salmon mixed in with Rainbow trout and Lake trout. After labor day most of our catch consist of trophy trout with some salmon mixed in.
