Salmon season on Lake Michigan on the charter fishing boat Breezy 1 usually runs from mid-April through late October, with the heart of salmon action from May through September — spring concentrating on cohos and later summer into fall producing Chinook kings and coho offshore and near harbors. The peak of the spring Coho Salmon fishing is typically mid May into mid June. The peak of the King Salmon fishing is typically late July into around early September.
