The King salmon fishing on Lake Michigan especially out of North Point marina in Winthrop Harbor is just heating up and should continue through August into early September. Many fish in the 15-25 pound range are being taken daily. While the morning salmon bite has been best, the afternoons are still offering some great salmon and trout action in the offshore water of Winthrop Harbor. The charter fishing boat Breezy 1 is a clean, modern and comfortable fishing platform with a large clean restroom “head.”
